Pneu Impact is born from the need to create an authentic, inclusive impact sector through creative inquiry and the contextualisation of impact. We aim to explore the role of impact communication in the planning, execution, and dissemination of projects. We ask: Can our approach to communication of impact influence the project's success?
We recognise that a lot of the decision-making regarding planning, execution, and even communication of impact is based on the assumption of what impact really means to target beneficiaries. The data lost in translation finds its way into a lack of participation, incomplete projects, irrelevant interventions, and lost opportunities for investment. There is thus a need to reevaluate how we define impact, and to create democratic channels of communication within the ecosystem to allow social endeavors to achieve their true potential.

Contextualised Impact
We define 'contextualised impact' as an approach to measuring impact in a way that authentically mirrors the lived experiences of beneficiaries. Pneu Impact is dedicated to actively involving beneficiaries in the
co-creation of impact metrics, emphasising the role of qualitative data and narrative. We aim to navigate the increasingly quantitative world of impact measurement and communication, by catalyzing creative methods of inquiry and knowledge acquisition.
Pneu Impact is committed to humanising impact. We aim to do this by innovating how we learn about our beneficiaries, as well as revitalising the data we are looking for. Our goal is to create holistic impact that deeply involves beneficiaries, helps intermediaries execute projects efficiently, and provides investors with qualitative impact metrics to help make investment decisions.
Creative Inquiry
We aim to develop deep knowledge about project beneficiaries, surpassing one-dimensional, static research processes. Our approach involves a deep dive into their lives through collaborative, visual-oriented research practice, studying the dynamic equation with their environments, their identities, psycho-social needs, and the social structures they are a part of. We aim to create ecosystems where beneficiaries feel seen and actively participate in.

In-Depth Ecosystem Analysis
Conduct essential research studies to understand the ecosystem within which interventions operate. This involves studying various stakeholder groups, operational methods, and existing engagement strategies with beneficiaries to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of affairs. The result would be a holistic understanding of what works, what doesn't, and identifying points of contact that can be leveraged for better implementation of projects. The research provides us with an initial roadmap of how to approach diverse aspects of beneficiaries' lives and plan future interventions.
Community Mobilisation through Creative Inquiry
Pneu Impact believes that communities have the power to heal themselves. However, before introducing an intervention, we need to ensure the strengthening of the community for better acceptance of interventions and to ensure their honest and continued participation. Pneu Impact will achieve this through creative methods of inquiry, where the medium of mobilization is collaborative, participatory research. The medium is the message, where the objective of research studies is rooted in the true recognition of the community's essence, and the tools of research are built on creativity,
self-expression and community building.
Creative Impact Metrics for
Qualitative Data Communication
Co-create impact metrics with project beneficiaries for contextual,
hyper-local impact measurement. In the process, fostering a shared understanding of impact, incentivising active participation, and establishing short feedback loops for real-time project progress. Contextualised impact metrics offer a qualitative approach to impact measurement, in addition to traditionally quantitative methods of determining impact.
Impact Communication
Establish strong, innovative channels of communication that educate investors and the general public alike about how the social impact intervention unfolded. These campaigns would take visual forms of art, videos, and film that extend beyond written, annual project reports and the occasional LinkedIn post. This creates avenues for enterprises to engage with the wider public and share how their company creates impact in the real world.
