what is true essence?

pronounced 'noom', derived from pneuma (/ˈnjuːmə/), the vital spirit, soul, or creative force of an entity, Pneume is an effort to communicate its meaning through my work.

what started as a portfolio website has evolved into an effort to document journeys taken across different mediums, delving deeper into the fundamental core of questions and the process of unfolding essence.

Naomi Rohilla (me) is a designer and researcher working on the meaningful exchange between impact and design. i love studying people, and understanding what draws them to act, behave, and participate in the things they do. this curiosity for people has led me through several doors - designing physical spaces and objects, studying user-interaction on digital platforms, collectivising marginalised communities through social enterprises, to most recently, pursuing a masters degree in social innovation and entrepreneurship at LSE.

i am now looking to collaborate with organisations to build holistic impact communication ecosystems through strategy, design and research. this has resulted in Pneu Impact, an impact communication framework built to create authentic, inclusive and resilient social impact interventions.

if you are interested in having me on your team or simply learning more about how i can help your organisation, let's get in touch :)
